Indirect method for determining the shape and size of the mammary glands for the needs of the oncoplastic approach by mammocartography

Abstract

With the advent of the oncoplastic approach in breast cancer surgery, it is increasingly necessary to have a number of parameters related to the shape and size of the breast in preoperative planning of surgery. Through the method developed by us for indirect mammometry by mammocartography, high accuracy of the parameters measured by us is achieved with shortened duration of the procedure and contact with the patient.
