STANDARDS AND NEW THERAPEUTIC APPROACHESIN GASTRIC CANCER

Abstract

In this publication, we review the standard and innovative diagnostic and therapeutic options for gastric cancer. Two cases from practice are described, showing the methodologies used in clinical practice and their success rates with sequential application. The clinical examples differ completely in the therapeutic behaviour, prognostic factors and possible side effects of the administered drug treatment, but patients quality of life remains good with acceptable therapeutic effect.
