Malignant melanoma is an aggressive malignancy with a tendency for early metastasis, arising from the uncontrolled proliferation of melanocytes. The incidence and social significance of the disease have been steadily increasing over the past few decades. A dramatic improvement in patients’ quality of life and overall survival has been observed following the introduction of various novel combinations of targeted therapies and immunotherapy. We present a case of a 68-year-old patient diagnosed with nodular malignant melanoma located in the upper right thoracic region. The applied combination immunotherapy proved effective but was associated with significant risks of immune-mediated adverse events. Clinical monitoring and readiness to switch to alternative therapy are crucial for achieving disease control.
