CURRENT STATUS OF THE PROPHYLAXIS OF UPPER EXTREMITY LYMPHEDEMA AFTER TREATMENT OF BREAST CANCER

Abstract

Lymphedema of the upper limb is one of the most common consequences for patients with breast cancer, developing as a result  of their treatment. In this study we review the possible surgical and nonsurgical methods, and their effectiveness in the prevention of postoperative upper limb lymphedema for breast cancer patients.
